Gender & Sexuality

Exploring identity can be powerful—and also deeply vulnerable.

Whether you're questioning your identity, navigating coming out, exploring gender, or figuring out what intimacy and connection mean to you, therapy can be a space to sort through it all—without having to explain the basics.

We work with LGBTQIA+ clients at all points in their journey, including people newly exploring their identity, those in transition, and folks seeking support around dating, relationships, or community. Our approach is affirming and curious, not prescriptive. You're the expert on your identity—we're here to help you move through what's hard, build self-trust, and feel more grounded in who you are.

Therapy for Gender & Sexuality can support goals like:

  • Exploring or affirming gender and sexual identity

  • Navigating coming out, transition decisions, or changes in expression

  • Processing family dynamics, internalized shame, or religious/cultural conflict

  • Dating and building relationships that feel safe and aligned

  • Healing from microaggressions, trauma, or identity-based stress

  • Creating more space for joy, pleasure, and self-acceptance

How we approach Gender & Sexuality:

  • Create a space where you don’t have to educate or translate your identity

  • Stay curious, affirming, and non-directive—we follow your lead

  • Invite complexity and contradiction without rushing clarity

  • Acknowledge how systemic oppression shows up in the room and in the body

  • Slow down to explore identity, intimacy, and embodiment with care

  • Make space for joy, grief, fear, and pride to coexist
