Grief & Loss
Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and it doesn't need to.
Loss can upend everything: your routines, your relationships, your sense of who you are. Grief can come in waves, show up as anger or numbness, or surface months or years later. Some losses are visible to everyone around you. Others, like pregnancy loss, estrangement, or the end of a relationship, can feel lonely because people don't know how to acknowledge them. Therapy can be a space where all of it is welcome.
We work with adolescents and adults grieving the death of a loved one, pregnancy and fertility loss, the loss of a relationship or family connection, and other losses that change the shape of life. Our approach is gentle and unhurried. We don't try to move you through stages or toward "closure"; we help you find your own way to live alongside what you've lost.
Therapy for Grief and Loss can support goals like:
Making space for grief without being overwhelmed by it
Working through guilt, regret, or what was left unsaid
Navigating anniversaries, holidays, and other hard days
Grieving losses others may not recognize or understand
Supporting family members and children through loss together
Finding ways to stay connected to who or what you've lost
How we approach Grief and Loss:
Let grief be what it is, without rushing or fixing it
Honor every kind of loss, including the ones without a name
Make room for complicated feelings like anger, relief, or ambivalence
Pay attention to how culture, family, and identity shape how you grieve
Support you through the practical and relational changes loss brings
Stay steady with you through the hardest moments
Our Team
